Synopsis

Gengo Matsunaga, once known as the legendary “Fire-Eating Bird,” is a skilled samurai who earned his reputation by battling devastating fires during the Edo period.

After leaving his former fire brigade behind, Gengo believes his firefighting days are over. But when he receives an invitation to serve the Shinjo clan, he finds himself drawn back into a world of raging flames and danger.

With limited resources and an unconventional group of companions, Gengo sets out to rebuild the clan’s struggling firefighting team. Together, they must protect lives, confront deadly infernos, and overcome challenges that test their courage and determination.
