Synopsis
In the aftermath of a devastating fire, Gengo, once known as the legendary “fire-eating samurai,” walks away from his past and disappears from the public eye.
Years later, he is drawn back into action when he is invited to rebuild a struggling firefighting group during the Edo period. With danger lurking in every blaze and lives constantly at risk, Gengo must lead a team of misfits to protect the city from raging infernos.
As flames rise and chaos spreads, Gengo confronts not only the dangers of fire—but also the ghosts of his past.
